A Gorgeous and Large Chester Silver Jewel Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful and practical item of dressing table silver from the sought after Chester Assay Office. This attractive piece is a pierced and shaped jewel box, with a domed pincushion lid. The lid opens to reveal the original lined interior and is hinged. The silver body is pierced and of undulating shape, standing on four ball feet. Trinket boxes are always in demand and an example that is both decorative and practical is an excellent find. Dimensions below.
