Regency Mahogany Bergere Library Armchair with Loose Leather Cushion Seat

Description

A good Regency mahogany bergere library armchair, circa 1820, the arched back with unusual fan shaped cresting, with caned back and seat, green leather upholstred arms and raised on sabre supports with original brass castors, with original green leather buttoned seat pad.

In good overall condition. The caning is good and strong and has been replaced at some point (although not recently), both front legs have old spliced repairs.

The back 104cm high, 61cm wide max (outside arm to outside arm), the seat 48cm wide, 54cm deep and 47cm high.
