K0504 Fine quality early Victorian sideboard in rosewood, having break fronted top with outstanding rosewood grain above a shallow frieze and a pair of projecting glazed doors with pleated silk fabric enclosing removable shelf, all flanked by crisp drop carvings and further glazed cabinet doors enclosing two shelves each all embellished with drop carvings, all doors fitted with original working locks and two keys. all standing on plinth base. This antique sideboard retains its original finish which has been cleaned and revived, good patina and soft and mellow colour, all in wonderful home ready condition. The cabinet comes with later custom cut glass top. c1850
