An oak Early 18th Century carved and dated North Country antique coffer. Having a three plank rectangular top above two finely carved panels, the bottom rail initialed and dated 1724, retaining the original split pin hinges inside and candle box. Supported on high stile feet. English early 17th Century dated 1724 but could possibly be earlier and given as a wedding gift in the year 1724

Dimensions:

Condition: This coffer is in wonderful original condition, colour and patination
