An extensive Betoule Legrand & Cie, Limoges, porcelain dinner service, circa 1915, with yellow and deep blue chequered border, 65 pieces in total, comprising:

Five graduated serving plates of elliptical form, ranging from 29.5cm wide to 47cm wide

Twin handled sauce tureen and cover, 19cm wide (the cover with one tiny glaze chip to edge of ladle hole)

Gravy boat, 18cm wide

12 plates, 25cm wide

11 plates, 22cm wide (3 with chips to borders)

11 plates, 19cm wide

12 shallow bowls, 24.5cm wide (one with star crack to the centre)

12 shallow bowls 21cm wide

All in excellent condition apart from where indicated above. The colours are bright with no wear.

With Limoges and Betoule Legrand & Cie backstamps. This mark was in use between 1911 and 1924.
