Description

This delightful George V silver jewellery box or trinket box was made by the renowned Chester silversmiths Nathan & Hayes. Of elegant oval form , the domed hinged cover engraved with a ribbon-tied garland surrounding a vacant circular reserve.
Gilt inner lid and original blue velvet and satin interior.
Original velvet base.
Hallmarks:
GN over RH for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
Lion Passant.
Chester Assay Mark.
Date letter "l" for 1911.

Length: 6.5cm / 2.4 inches.
Height: 3cm / 1.2 inches.
Width: 4.5cm / 1.4 inches.
Condition:
Very good condition.
No dents or dings.
Strong hinge.
