Description

Very useful antique French style walnut plant holder with cane side panels, in good original condition & dating to around the 1890-1910 period.

It has a nice warm colour, with lots of character, lovely shaping all over & the carvings are crisp. The metal tray looks original too & the original paintwork on that has long gone. Personally, I wouldn’t repaint it, because if it’s used for plants you will hardly see it & the water will gradually take it off again.
