A good quality Chippendale style mahogany breakfront bookcase from Circa 1900. The stepped and moulded dentil cornice having a blind fret frieze above the 4 glazed doors. Each having 13 pane astragal glazing bars, working locks with key and brass closing strip to the centre doors. The doors open to reveal each section has 4 fully adjustable mahogany faced shelves. The base section of conforming breakfront form with 3 blind fretted drawers and brass swan neck handles.The 4 panelled doors inlaid with decorative large quartered ovals and the stiles having further blind fret detail with the whole raised on an off set plinth base.
