Description

A French Art Deco Mantle Clock with a pair of matching garnitures. Several materials have been used in the clocks design, including the striking brown veined marble, a contrasting cream marble, green onyx, chrome and brass. A well designed set, with columns in marble, onyx and chrome, with chrome balls mounted above each column. Above the main clock face, is perched a chromed swallow with wings outstretched. The octagonal clock face, with good Art Deco chrome numerals, is set on a gold effect face and and edged in chrome banding. A great item to show the skill of French Art Deco design. The clock strikes each hour and half an hour.

The clock has recently been cleaned and serviced by a qualified horologist.

Comes in overall very good condition.
