Set of 4 late C19th/ early C20th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood ‘nesting’ tables. Good quality carved hardwood quartetto of Chinese occasional tables . The panelled tops raised on shaped supports united by shaped stretchers and all fitted with carved and pierced friezes with trailing vine motifs . In excellent original condition, having a rich colour and patina to the well-chosen figured rosewood or ‘hongmu’ timber . A quality set of practical tables to provide style and function together with exotic Oriental design.
