Description

19th Century mahogany armchair in the Chippendale style, with a carved & pierced splat in the back, the slender curved supports with scroll decoration on the front of the arms, with a maroon stuff over upholstered seat with brass stud decoration and carved beading below, supported on square legs with carved decoration on the front legs, united with side, front and back stretchers. Lovely mahogany colour and ideal for a desk chair. Circa 1880.
