Antique Victorian Mahogany Leather Top Writing Table

Description

A smart and extremely well made late Victorian writing table in Mahogany with a leather writing surface. This dates from around 1880’s period, it is in wonderful original condition, with only some very minor wear commensurate for age. The tooled red leather has aged beautifully, this is also nicely finished on the back so can be used as a free standing item. The flip top stationery compartment on the back is a lovely feature, and even includes the two original glass and brass ink pots. There is one long drawer with very fine dovetails & brass handles with oval back plates.

Height – 32 inches, 82 cm

Knee height – 22 inches, 57 cm
