Antique Hand Made Tapestry

Description

This antique tapestry is in very good original condition & a decent size too. I believe it could be English & dates to around the 1860’s period, but I’m not a tapestry expert, so don’t take that as gospel. Either way, it’s at least 19th century.

The scene it depicts shows grape picking & a mother feeding her young child some grapes. The characters & surrounding are very detailed & colourful too.

Width – 43 inches, 110 cm

Depth – 1.5 inches, 3 cm

Height – 48 inches, 122 cm
