Mid-size Bulova Minute Man wrist watch, 1937.

The watch has a fully signed 17-jewel 7AP hand-winding movement which is working nicely. This movement was in production from 1936 until 1944 and the date code on this particular movement dates it back to 1937.

The watch measures 21mm wide excluding the winding crown and 34mm high excluding the lugs. It was originally designed as a man's watch but, by today's standards, would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 10k rolled gold plate and it is in good condition, just some rubbing to the angled edges.

Bulova gave their watches names for marketing purposes but never actually added the name to the watch. Sadly there are no early Bulova records which are readily available. However, from referring to early Bulova adverts, this particular watch has been identified as the Minute Man model.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
