Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This is a very rare survivor of early London door step milk deliveries, the top section holds crates and glass milk bottles, there are a few replacements here and they have been painted to look as though they are full of milk

The larger cupboard underneath has double doors at each end which would hold milk churns and it has a chiller dispenser which would have been packed with ice and has a dispensing tap at the bottom where customers could have their own containers filled

The cart is unrestored, in its original livery, it is more or less complete
