Description
A beautiful and simple ring from the Georgian period, c1800s. This ring came to me in a bit of a state with a big jagged hole in the back of the closed back setting. The shank and stone are original to the 1800s and I have had the central setting remade in the style in which it always was. There were hints of the fluted back around the hole and this design has been replicated to breathe new life into a lovely old piece. The stone at the centre is a pretty emerald paste and is original to the ring. The shank is classically Georgian with its decorative design and the remodelling of the setting has been expertly done. Details: Materials - 18ct Gold (tested), Silver, Emerald Paste Age - C1800s, central setting remade Size - The emerald paste measures approx 6mm by 5mm Ring size UK O US 7 This ring cannot be resized Condition - Excellent. A little wear to the back of the shank, commensurate with age Weight - 2.57g Free worldwide shipping on all orders over £150. Internal Ref: 3759
