Antique Burr Walnut Large Clothes Press C1920

Superb Antique Burr Walnut Clothes Press and dating from around 1920. ConstRucted from quality burr walnut it has a moulded cornice top and deep crossbanded frieze with fine stringing of ebony. This is above two quarter veneered burr walnut doors set within a wide crossbanded edge and fine ebony stringing with original brass handle. Internally there is double hanging space and to one side is a single shelf above four sliding tray drawers . To the base there are two short drawers over two long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with with crossbanded edges and fine ebony stringing and original brass handles. It is raised on bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze and separates for ease of transporting.
