George V Silver Tea Strainer & Stand by the Barker Brothers, Birmingham 1929

Description

This elegant silver tea strainer was made in Birmingham 1929 by the prolific Barker Brothers. The pierced circular bowl flanked by a pair of leaf-capped handles and fitted on the the original stand. The stand raised on three hoof feet.

B.B S Ltd for Barker Brothers Silver Ltd

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion passant.

Date letter "E" for 1919.

Jubilee mark.

Dimensions and weight:

Diameter: 5cm / 2 inches.

Length handle to handle: 10cm / 4 inches.

Height: 4cm / 1.6 inches

Combined Weight: 65 g / 2 1/4 oz

Condition:

Very good.
