A very finely carved pair of signed 19th century walnut mirrors. Fine deep carving with undercutting and pierced with acanthus leaves, the inner border of laurel leaves and each supporting a Griffin holding a shield and sword surmounting a motto. A matched pair with Griffins facing left and right. Immaculate condition, no losses glass with small amount of oxydisation . Excellent patination and signed verso Braun 1882.
