This is an antique stationery rack. An English, flame mahogany desk correspondence or letter cabinet by Asprey of London, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Beautifully inlaid correspondence rack

Displays a desirable aged patina

Select flame mahogany catches the eye with fine grain interest

Deep russet hues to the wax polish finish

Boxwood inlay decorates the finely figured top with scallop shell motif

Arranged as five letter racks over lower recess

Striking inverse demi-lune form an appealing touch

Stood upon a continuous plinth base
