A fine pair of Sheraton revival bonheur du jours attributed to Edwards & Roberts of London. The shaped up stands having scrolling foliage with central marquetry inlaid scenes of children at play. The 2 doors have stunning inlaid urns with tied ribbons, foliage and harebells and open to shelved interiors. The bow fronted bases having another fine inlaid urn with further harebells and swags etc. The drawers retaining the original oval brass handles between inlaid tied ribbons and swags. The sides with conforming marquetry inlay. The stiles having inlaid urns leading to the square tapered legs with inlaid graduated harebells and “X” shaped cross stretchers.
