Description

Unusual Art Deco oak desk c.1930. Stylish machine age design in pale oak with one rounded end. Original blue leather writing surface, also with one curved edge, to the right of which is a hinged flap which opens to reaveal a birch lined interior for paper and stationery etc, the lid forming a useful extra shelf. With a bank of three drawers of graduated depth plus another drawer over the kneehole. Plus an open bookshelf and two door cupboard in the curved left hand end. Raised on an ebonised plith. Excellent condition with original bakelite handles and door knobs, chrome hinges and stay. Cleaned and waxed in our workshop, cupboard key supplied.
