Regency Scroll End Couch C.1820.

Description

Fabulous Regency mahogany scroll end sofa c.1820. Padded backrest featuring a curving flame mahogany crossbanded top rail with lovely carved freize. Over out-swept arms and a padded seat with loose cushion. Exceptionally well carved fronts to the arms with Classically inspired detail. Flame mahogany veneered apron below the seat and raised on superb scallop carved and shaped feet with the original wooden wheel castors. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops and freshly reupholstered in a dark blue and gold flatweave.
