Description

An attractive 19th Century flamed mahogany glazed secretaire.
The mahogany boasting a well figured flamed grain and rich patina.
The upper section with a projecting cornice above astragal glazed doors enclosed trays. The lower section with secretaire drawers converting to the writing desk enclosed birdseye maple lined interior, gilt tooled leather writing suface, cubby holes and miniature drawers. Fitted three long graduated drawers below and raised on a plinth base.
The piece dismantles to two sections for ease of movement.
