A Victorian ambrotype, circa 1880, of a seated young girl holding book in her right hand, within a glazed gilt composition frame, together with a later hand-touched photograph of the same images obviously taken from the original ambrotype, within an oval frame.
Ambrotype: 13cm x 13cm
Hand tinted photograph: 19cm x 15.5cm
The frame of the ambrotype is split at the top otherwise condition is good overall.
