Description

A charming George I style burr walnut bureau of compact proportions. Dating to c.1900. Of very good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top, sides, fall front and drawer fronts are all cross banded, additionally the fall front is inlaid with feather banding inlay. The fall opens to reveal a fitted interior with a central lockable cupboard. The fall itself is also lockable (key supplied). Beneath is an arrangement of 4 long , graduated drawers, all fitted with their original brass handles. The whole piece stands on bracket feet. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in very good original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
