A Fine Quality Shapland & Petter Arts and Crafts Inlaid Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality Shapland & Petter arts and crafts inlaid cabinet. Having a raised gallery back with wonderful marquetry inlaid panels above a central bow front glazed door, enclosing a shelved interior and with an Art Nouveau inspired escutcheon. Supported on square chamfered column supports with further floral marquetry inlay to the frieze, turned spindle gallery detail and square block feet. Stamped S,P & B to the lock and having the design number to the rear. English circa 1900

Dimensions: 45" wide x 20" deep x 77" high

Condition: This cabinet is in superb original condition throughout, cleaned and waxed
