Antique Burr Walnut Writing Bureau

1920 - 1940
Description

Antique Queen Anne style walnut bureau in excellent condition, with a nice warm colour, plenty of character & dating to around the 1930’s period.

It has a burr walnut top, slope & drawers. The drawers have original brass handles & the slope is cross banded. The inside writing compartment has various compartments, a small single drawer & a tooled leather writing surface. The writing section is supported by manual pull out loafers.

This bureau is of solid construction & sits on Queen Anne legs.

Width – 25 inches, 64 cm

Depth – 18 inches, 46 cm

Height – 39 inches, 100 cm

Knee height – 29 inches, 73 cm
