Long 18th.c. Provincial Fruitwood Bench C.1780.

Description

Long late 18th.c. provincial French fruitwood bench c.1780. Over seven feet long, single piece top rail with wavey bottom edge and chip carved detail. Raised on turned spindles and scratch carved ends over an inch thick single piece board seat (height 18"). Raised on simple square stiles. Good condition, solid and sturdy, with particularly good colour and patina.

Dimensions: length 87½", depth 13½", height 30".
