Description

Fine quality antique burr walnut kidney shaped desk or dressing table which was designed & made by “Waring & Gillows”. The metal label in attached to the inside of one of the drawers.

It’s finished & polished all the way around, with a cross banded top & bottom front edge. It’s also cross banded on the top. There are three drawers, with fine dovetails, original brass handles & a lock in the middle drawer. The solid walnut legs have some subtle carving on the tops.

This is a very useful item, because it can be used as a dressing table or desk. It’s in excellent original condition & dates from the 1920’s period.
