Description

Circa 1880-1900 a beautifully made bronze 'Aladdin' lamp that was most likely originally lit by gas, or possibly oil.

It was converted to electricity many years ago and rewired professionally by the previous owner within the past three years using flex cable and fitted with an online switch. To comply with UK regulations it requires an up to date PAT test before use.

It measures 48cm in height with the shade on and 38cm across at the widest part; without the shade it is 32cm high.

It is very heavy, weighing 5.3kgs without the shade, and for this reason we would send the lamp base and the shade out separately.
