18th Century Oak Coffer or Mule Chest with Carved Panels

An antique 18th century oak coffer or mule chest with hinged three panel lid, two panel front with diamond carved detailing, two fitted drawers to the base with brass tear drop handles. Slightly raised on later added block feet.

DIMENSIONS:

Height – 70cm / Width – 114cm / Depth – 54cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good, well used antique condition throughout with various signs of age and wear. Surface wear to the top and front with some marks and staining etc. (pictured). Structurally solid and sound. Later hinges, and later added block feet (probably reduced in height at some point). Some evidence of old historic wood worm to the drawer linings, fully treated as a precaution.
