1933 Silver Buren Pocket Watch and Chain

1933 silver Buren pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a 1933 long service inscription to F L Lightfoot.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1933 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison... the Dennison Watch Case Company was an English company who supplied various watch makers with cases. The case is in lovely condition, the engine turned detail to the hinged case back is still nice and crisp. There is a vacant cartouche to the back which has light surface marking.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in good condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single white metal chain, 25cm long.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
