Tagani of Nottingham Mercury Barometer

Description

A late Georgian mercury wheel barometer. A mahogany case with choice flame veneers with a swan neck pediment and the original brass finial. Banded case edging and the original ivorine set knob. Well silvered dials with a long mercury thermomeer scale. The level is engraved 'TAGANI, NOTTINGHAM'. Circa 1830.
