Description

A George III Mahogany Pedestal Desk.

The 18th century desk with an olive green gilt tooled edge writing surface, set with a banded edge, finished with a concave and convex mould surround. The frieze holding tow long cockbeaded drawers, the top resting on a pair of pedestals, each holding three drawers and flanking the kneehole. The plinths finished with an ogee mould. The drawers all cockbeaded and mounted with good rococo scrolled swan neck handles and escutcheon plates.

Height 30 1/2 inches, 77cm.

Width 48 inches, 122cm.

Depth 29 1/2 inches, 75cm.
