Art Deco Figure by G.leonardi

1920 - 1940
Description

‘Leonardene Art Models, are exclusive figures designed by British artists and made in London from Bristish materials, every piece made and finished by hand’.

Guiseppe Leonardi had a workshop at, 2/4 Elthorne Road Upper Holloway N.19

The company were holders of Diplomas won in world Competitions in the early 1930s in Brussels, Florence, London, Padora and Paris

Care:

It is interesting to note that these finishes can be sponged with warm soapy water. We recommend that in the case of the matt finishes care be taken to dry well.

This was given the shape number 177 and called ‘Dawn’. Finished here in the all jade colour way with an egg shell Matt finish. To the rear of the base is the registration number, 796953, along with Leonardi’s workshop Mark.
