Description

Fine pair of neat little Georgian style mahogany armchairs c.1920. Shaped backs and sides decending to narrow arms featuring swept fronts with carved detail. Sprung seats (height 17") with serpentine front edges. Carved frieze below the seats front and rear and raised on slim tapering legs carved with flower garlands and ending in unusual carved block feet. Upholstered in a russet brown velvet with brass studs to the edges. Fabric is obviously worn in places but perfectly serviceable. Oherwise very good condition, presented as found.
