Description

This excellent quality silver plate medium sized champagne or wine cooler / ice bucket which dates from c1940 is by renowned silversmith Mappin & Webb. This cooler has a knob handle to each side, the silver plate is in excellent condition, it is a nice heavy weight and holds one bottle.

Marked to base: Mappin & Webb. London & Sheffield. Mappin Plate. V in shield. W10324.

Diameter including side handles: 24 cm (9 1/2") approx.

Condition: Excellent used vintage condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only light surface scratches and a few small tarnish marks. The inside is clean with a few spots/marks and some scratches.

Please note that only the cooler is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
