Chinese solid silver talcum powder dispenser, Luen Wo, Shanghai, c. 1900. Decorated to either side with flowering chrysanthemum, on a stippled ground.

The detachable top section, with a swivel pierced cover, pierced to dispense the powder.

Stamped marks to the base.

Weight – 129 grammes, 4.1 Troy ounces.

Height: 11.7 cm, 4 5/8”.

Width: 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.

Depth: 3.3 cm, 1 1/4”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No repair.
