Antique Victorian Iron Framed Button Back Chair by Gillows of Lancaster

Description

A Victorian iron framed chair by Gillows of Lancaster, the button back with iron frame over a sprung seat raised on ring turned front supports with original brass castors stamped 'STRONG', both the back legs stamped 'GILLOW'.

The chair is in robust condition, the seat and upholstery is good but the pink velvet fabric is dirty. I have not attempted to clean it. I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric, please contact me for details.
