A delightful early 19th century circa 1820 parquetry writing slope box, with tumbling block design in specimen woods giving a three dimensional look. Exotic woods include coromandel, calamander, satinwood, zebra wood, partridge wood ,rosewood and more. It has a fitted interior with two ink bottles, one stamped Moseleys Revolving. It has a false floor with secret compartment.
