Art Deco 1.86 Carat Cabochon Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, Circa 1925

Description

A marvellous Art Deco sapphire ring. The round cabochon cut stone in the centre displays a rich, royal blue. The stone is rubover and milgrain set in platinum and surrounded by sixteen white and bright old single cut diamonds. The closed gallery leads to a slim platinum shank. Sleek and divine.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309160).

Cut – Round cabochon sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI2.

Carat –The sapphire is approximately 1.86 carat, with approximately 0.24 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1925.

Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 11.4mm in diameter. Sits 5.5mm from the finger.

Metal – Tests as platinum.
