A Late Victorian Small Silver Chamber Stick

A charming example of late Victorian domestic ware. This delightful piece is a small chamber stick , sometimes called a go-to-bed and is of good quality silver. It has a circular base with beaded rim and fixed sconce to hold a small candle. The handle has an acanthus grip motif. An interesting and unusual item. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or breaks. There is some light 'pitting' to the front of the stem, which is not damage and the result of the original sand casting.
