Early C19th Regency period gilt-wood framed convex mirror.

Deep circular cavetto frame border set with multiple balls or spheres . The original grey sparkly mercury convex mirror-plate set within a reeded and ebonised ring . The edge of the gilt frame with a moulded profile with spaced crossed ribbon detail .

The reverse with original back-boards .

A good mid-size scale mirror of simple design to add atmospheric period style to an interior, whilst providing interesting reflected perspective and light .

The original gilding having achieved a soft , mellow patina .
