Description

Beautiful little early 20th.c. kingwood parquetry veneered side table c.1910. Rounded ends to the top which features a floral marquetry inlaid panel at the centre of a pattern of contrasting veneers clevery arranged to make a three dimensional block effect. With a crossbanded rosewood border and a fine quality pierced brass gallery to the sides and rear. With a single drawer in the apron, also veneered and inlaid to match on the sides and rear. Raised on shaped and pieced legs with inlaid roundels at the sides. joined with a stretcher shelf, inlaid and veneered to match the top. Original brass handles and escutcheon to the drawer front. Brass mounts and mouldings to the apron and lower shelf. Minor wear to the top, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshop. Key supplied.
