Description

A tiny and really charming small vanity or dressing table jar in the ever-popular hobnail cut design.

The sterling silver repousse top is beautifully decorated with all-over scrolls and a central cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if desired. The lid bears the English hallmark for Birmingham 1908, making this a true Edwardian example; together with the makers mark H M for Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 3/4" in diameter x 1 3/4" tall.
