French Art Deco Silver Plated Cocktail Shaker by Apollo Orfevrerie

Description

A very tactile Art Deco cocktail shaker with two bands of engine turning around the body of the shaker and again to the lid.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop, it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

The underside has a full makers mark (V H and a figural mark) and signed by the famous French silversmith's, Apollo. Apollo, Societe De Coutellerie et D'orfevrerie, was a French company of cutlery and orfevrerie, established in 1796, with the known address in 31 Rue Pastourelle, Paris.

Dating to the 1930's, it remains in excellent condition measuring 3 1/4" in diameter x 8" tall.
