Antique Edwardian Silver-rimmed Jug And Bowl

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

An Edwardian glass jug and bowl, topped with a solid sterling silver rim and with the addition of a silver spoon.

The silver rims are hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 and the spoon for Birmingham 1913. There is a little damage to the silver rim on the jug, around the pouring spout, which can be seen in the photographs. The spoon is clearly hallmarked with the maker''s name of William Suckling Ltd and is decorated with a foliate design on a shaped handle. The glass is in excellent condition, faceted and clear, with the starburst base which is always a sign of quality.

Dimensions:

Jug Height: 9.5cm

Bowl Diameter: 8cm

Spoon Length: 11cm

A useful set for, maybe, whisky and ice?
