French Silver Plated Champagne Bottle Cocktail Shaker

Description

A fabulous vintage French cocktail shaker very much in the manner of famous French designer, Maria Pergay, with the rope and tassels that wrap around the Champagne bottle.

Made from silver plate, it is fully marked on the underside "metal argente" (silver plate) with the makers mark SNFA under a champagne glass and "made in France". I would estimate it to date to late 1950's.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished.

Excellent condition measuring 3 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 10 1/4" tall.
