Description

1930s Tavannes pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement with Breguet hairspring, engine turned plates and screw set jewels, which is all working nicely. The movement, which has been identified as a Tavannes, is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and it is in super condition. It was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, the Birmingham based manufacturer.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.
